Friction wheels consist of an elastomer lining and a metal body. The friction lining is firmly connected to the metal part. The elastomer compound used, based on polychloroprene, has a hardness of 80° +/- 5 Shore A.
Design:
It is wear-resistant and largely oil-resistant, but temperatures of 70 °C should not be exceeded. Short-term peaks of up to 80 °C are permissible after running-in of the drive. The metal body is made of commercially available free-cutting steel 9 S 20 K. Centerings are provided for subsequent machining.
