A wide and highly rigid linear guide with ball chain technology for low-noise and virtually maintenance-free operation even in the high speed range.
Due to the wide rail cross-section, the guide rail of type SHW has a high axial area moment of inertia with excellent tangential rigidity. Therefore, this type is ideal for single rail applications in tight installation conditions, or in applications that require a very rigid linear guide due to high moment loads.
The four rows of balls are each arranged at a contact angle of 45°, so that the carriage has equal load ratings in the radial, reverse radial and tangential directions. This type of guide can therefore be used in any mounting position for a wide variety of applications.
