Inline pressure regulator, IG/AG, with secondary venting, prepressure-dependent, G 1/4, working pressure (preset) 2 bar, PN max. 25 bar. Most pneumatic tools are directly connected to the compressed air network by means of a quick-action coupling and are thus usually supplied with a higher pressure than required. This increases consumption and the tools are overloaded.
The automatic secondary venting provides additional safety. When the tool is disconnected from the hose, a residual pressure remains on the tool side, which remains functional for a short time, even after the tool has been switched off. Unintentional actuation of the tool can thus lead to serious injuries to the user (staplers and nail guns can still fire up to 10 shots).
The use of preset inline pressure regulators matched to the application prevents this effect, thereby achieving energy efficiency and economy.
