LOCTITE® 523 is a methacrylate-based surface sealant ideal for applications where very low strength is particularly important (ease of disassembly). The product is used to seal machined, torsionally rigid metal flanges and achieves hand strength in 10 minutes (steel) or 20 minutes (aluminum). It is anaerobically curing and suitable for gap sizes up to .125 mm.
