Plummer block housings are primarily intended for the installation of self-aligning ball bearings, spherical roller bearings and CARB toroidal roller bearings. They are designed according to the modular system. This allows a more liberal choice of bearing, mounting on the shaft, sealing and lubrication methods.
SNL plummer block housings are painted black, RAL 9005, as standard, providing corrosion protection in accordance with category C2 of DIN EN ISO 12944-2:1998.
These SNL plummer block housings have been further improved over time, now have even higher material quality and machining precision, and are characterized by a number of new features.
These are:
- longer bearing life
- higher corrosion resistance
- lower lubricant consumption
