The medium-sized SKF TIH 100m heating device is an extremely effective, i.e. time and energy saving, heating device for rotationally symmetrical workpieces with a bore of up to 400 mm and a cross-section of 145 x 205 mm. It is equipped with a new type of control electronics which, among other things, allows precise control of the current intensity and thus also of the heating process.
The arrangement of the coil outside the housing shortens the heating time, reduces energy consumption and, in the case of TIH 100m, makes it possible to heat bearings weighing up to 120 kg. The heating device is equipped with thermal overload protection for the induction coil and electronics. In addition, the heating device has an automatic temperature control for safe heating of rolling bearings and a timer for heating other ring-shaped metal parts. Three different sized yokes are included as standard.
