WACKER RTV-1 silicone rubbers of the ELASTOSIL® brand are ready-to-use one-component compounds of flowable or paste-like consistency that react with atmospheric moisture to form an elastic silicone rubber.
According to the reaction products released during the reaction, RTV-1 silicone rubbers are classified as amine-crosslinking (ELASTOSIL® A), acetic acid-crosslinking (ELASTOSIL® E) and neutral-crosslinking (ELASTOSIL® N).
Depending on their consistency, the products are suitable for coating, sealing, bonding or potting.
